The Dual LED Blue/White Light Transilluminator is an advanced dual-light-source imaging system designed for versatility and safety in the laboratory.
Blue Light Mode: Engineered for the visualization of nucleic acid gels, protein gels, and membrane stains. It is primarily used for the observation and gel-cutting operations of nucleic acid (DNA/RNA) gel electrophoresis. Compatible with a wide range of safe stains—including SYBR™ Safe, SYBR™ Gold, SYBR™ Green I & II, SYPRO™ Ruby, SYPRO™ Orange, and Gelsignal™ Green—this system eliminates UV-induced sample damage and protects laboratory personnel from the hazards of toxic dyes like Ethidium Bromide (EB).
White Light Mode: Tailored for biological laboratories to observe nucleic acid and protein gels post-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) with silver staining. It delivers high brightness and uniform illumination with ultra-low power consumption and zero heat generation, ensuring sharp bands and deformation-free visualization even during prolonged observation.
