Used for routine DNA/RNA analysis (Agarose Gel Electrophoresis), Protein separation (SDS-PAGE, Native-PAGE), Western Blotting / Electrotransfer, and Isoelectric Focusing (IEF) and 2D Electrophoresis
• Flexible Operation: Provides three operation modes—Constant Voltage (CV) Mode, Constant Current (CC) Mode, and Constant Power (CP) Mode—to meet the needs of different test applications.
• Seamless "One-Touch" Protein Profiling: Comes with a pre-set one-click protein profile mode that naturally switches from stacking to resolving gel step.Brings no manual interference within running, makes workflow run more efficient.
• Global Triple-Constant Safeguard: Any primary parameter (voltage, current or power) can be set by the user and the other two are automatically capped by the system, which safely eliminates the risk of overloading and provides a safe and dynamic triple-constant operation.
• Anti-Diffusion Micro-Current Maintenance: Upon completion of the run, the instrument automatically steps down into micro-current maintenance cycle. This prevents over run of the sample or band diffusion, and maintains the integrity of the sample during unattended or overnight runs.
• Colorful 4.3-Inch Touchscreen Display: Has a colorful and 4.3-inch touchscreen display that is very responsive. It shows live voltage, current, power, and timers all at once - so you can compare the preset values with the real ones side-by-side.
• Smartphone-Like User Experience (UX) : The objective was to design an extremely user-friendly, icon-based user interface reminiscent of modern smartphone interfaces (iOS, Android), therefore decreasing the learning time for lab staff.
• Smart Power-Free Recovery: When power is unexpectedly interrupted, you can rest assured that the running parameters of the instrument will be recorded and the precise electrophoresis phase, from which it was cut off, will be resumed after power supply recovery.
• Run-End Auto Termination: The on-board auto memory and automated shutdown program protect data and energy once protocol is completed.
• Worldwide Global Voltage Compatibility: Thanks to the wide range input voltage supported (AC 110V–240V, 50/60Hz), this unit is ideal to be use in any country’s laboratory power source without the need of any step-up or step-down transformer.
• High-Capacity Multi-Step Programming: Allows users to store up to 30 custom methods, with each method supporting up to 10 sequential steps for complex, multi-phase separation techniques.
• Multi-Tiered Safety & Self-Diagnostics: With an advanced protection matrix including detection for over-voltage, electrical arcing, no-load, and sudden load fluctuations. It provides real-time monitoring against short circuits, overloads, and current leakage, coupled with instant open-circuit alarms for maximum operator safety.
A: In standard protein electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), researchers usually have to manually change the voltage or current when the protein samples finish migrating through the stacking gel and enter the resolving gel. Our "One-Touch Setup" automates this entire process. With a single click, the power supply pre-programs this transition, automatically switching phases without requiring you to wait around the lab and reset the parameters mid-run.
A: In many busy labs, an electrophoresis run might finish when no one is available to turn off the machine (e.g., during lunchtime, meetings, or overnight runs). If left alone, the bands will diffuse back into the gel, ruining hours of work. With this feature, the power supply automatically drops to a minimal, safe micro-current upon timer completion. This holds the bands tightly in place and prevents them from overrunning out of the gel until you are ready to collect them.
A: While the power supply features 4 pairs of parallel outputs that allow you to run up to 4 gel tanks simultaneously, all connected tanks must share the same programmed parameters (Voltage/Current/Power) and run duration. Therefore, you can run up to 4 identical vertical gels or 4 identical transfer cells at once, but you cannot mix a high-voltage vertical PAGE run with a high-current Western Blot transfer at the same time.
A: No transformer is needed. The unit is engineered with a wide-range adaptive power module that supports AC 110V–240V at 50/60Hz. Whether your lab is located in North America (110V), Europe (230V), or Asia, you can plug it directly into your local wall outlet. We will provide the correct regional power cord (US, EU, UK, or AU plug) based on your shipping address.
A: Your work is protected. Thanks to the Power-Out Recovery function, the unit features built-in non-volatile memory. If a power failure occurs, the system instantly logs the exact state of your run. As soon as the main power is restored, the power supply will automatically resume from the exact step and minute it left off, safeguarding your valuable samples.
A: Gel smiling or melting happens when the power jumps unexpectedly during a run as electrical resistance changes. With our system, when you set your primary constant parameter (e.g., Constant Voltage), you can also set maximum thresholds for current and power. The intelligent microprocessor continuously calculates the electrical dynamics and caps the other two variables, ensuring the gel never overloads or overheats.
